Please note:

  • If you completed a placement exam after the June 15 deadline, we may not receive your results until late August.
  • If you completed a placement exam on or before June 15 and do not see a result posted in Student Planning, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
  • If you believe you should have AP, IB, or Dual Enrollment credit that is not reflected on your record, please contact the Registrar’s Office so we can review your situation.

If you have questions about your registration appointment, placement results, or transfer credit, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

Online Registration Time Emails (July 2, 2026)

All incoming first-year and transfer students should have received an email message in your Kalamazoo email account from the Registrar’s Office with your specific online registration time. If you did not receive a message, contact the Registrar’s Office as soon as possible.

Placement Exams Deadline (June 16, 2026)

If you did not complete your online placement exams yet, you should still complete them as soon as possible, as our faculty will be grading them at additional times this summer.

Placement exams are required. More specific information on which exams you must take can be found on the placement exams website. The results of the placement exams will be posted in July before course registration if the exams were completed before the deadline. Results for exams taken after the deadline will be available at the latest during orientation.

Remember: you are required to take the placement exam for math and any language studied in high school or for which you have even minimal proficiency – even if, at this point, you do not intend on or are not sure about continuing in that language at K.
